Cordyceps sinensis is one of the rarest and most valued mushrooms in the world. It occurs naturally in the high-mountain regions of Tibet. It has been known for centuries in Tibetan and Chinese tradition, where it was used in various ways - in a range of applications, forms and nutritional approaches.
