DESCRIPTION:

Native to the Iberian Peninsula, Spanish marjoram is a wild-growing Mediterranean herb, popular among herbalists worldwide. Traditionally used as an infusion to soothe coughs and colds. As an essential oil, Spanish marjoram is used in treatments that strengthen immunity. Mixed with a carrier oil and massaged into the chest, it can help improve circulation. Used in steam inhalation or a diffuser, the oil has energising properties.

INGREDIENTS:

100% flower oil Thymus mastichina (marjoram).

Naturally occurring allergens: limonene and linalool.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

In a vaporiser: add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser or burner.

Inhalation: add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of very hot water, inhale the vapours for 5 to 10 minutes. (Inhalation only for children over 10 years of age.)

For massage: dilute 5 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of a carrier oil such as almond or jojoba oil.

Bath: add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20 ml of carrier oil. Mix into the water.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply directly to the skin. Not for children under 5 years of age. Consult a doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of small children.
