Micellar solubilization of curcumin ensures fast absorption and high bioavailability. Studies confirm the better absorption of NovaSOL curcumin^® compared to traditional turmeric extracts. Thanks to solubilization technology, we obtain stable, highly bioavailable curcumin.

Products in micellized form they form solubilizates of lipophilic (fat-loving, water-insoluble) substances.

These substances are stable in terms of pH and temperature, and their diameter is approximately 30 nanometers. While microemulsions can be unstable, micellized products are an excellent solution for functional food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or biotechnology (cells and bacterial cultures). Micelles are 100% water-soluble and can be used directly in products regardless of the properties of the other ingredients. It has been shown that products in micellized form are an excellent carrier for hydrophobic ("water-hating") substances. They ensure better and faster absorption and penetration of active ingredients.

The transfer of micellized substances (fat-soluble and water-insoluble) into final products happens directly, without additional production steps.

Scientific studies confirm the high absorption of micellized active ingredients through the skin and intestines. Fat-soluble substances such as vitamin E, are absorbed with the help of bile acid salts and enzymes through the formation of micelles in the small intestine. However, this process is characterized by low bioavailability of the absorbed substances. Using AQUANOVA's micellized products bypasses the process of micelle formation in the intestines, ensuring higher bioavailability of the active substances.

Compared to emulsions, AQUANOVA's micellized products are stable (temperature, pH - gastric acids) and resistant to microbiological contamination.
