PTEROSTILBENE 90% SILBINOL® (60 CAPSULES) - FOOD SUPPLEMENT

Pterostilbene is a version of the resveratrol molecule, only slightly modified by nature through the exchange of two small chemical substituents. This small change, however, means that pterostilbene is absorbed 4 times better than resveratrol after oral administration, making it much more effective. This is why pterostilbene has been labelled the “stronger resveratrol”. Nevertheless, some authors point out that not all the effects of these two nutrients fully overlap, so this view is not entirely justified.

A huge number of studies have been carried out using isolated cells, animal research models and human volunteers, confirming the extremely broad range of properties of resveratrol and pterostilbene. 

Both pterostilbene and resveratrol are stilbene compounds, closely related in structure, which gives them similar functions. Both compounds interact with each other, activating the “longevity gene SIRT1”.
