Ear candling treatment deeply calms and pleasantly relaxes the whole body. The treatment will only be carried out correctly using professional candles – and that's exactly what Candica Aura Herbals konchy are. Konchy have a relaxing and aromatherapeutic effect. Ear candling is not only a treatment that improves physical well-being (giving a feeling of overall relaxation and harmony throughout the body), but also a pleasure in itself – some people relax so much during a Candica konchy candling session that they fall asleep during or right after the treatment.

Konchy ear candles have a stronger effect than HOPI candles. The Konchy treatment can be tried by people who have already used HOPI candles and would like a stronger effect.

Ear candling has a long tradition. It was already practised by the Hopi Indians in their rituals, through which they gained:

The candles we offer you are made on an ongoing basis, in quantities depending on order frequency, from pure, fresh and natural beeswax. Their subtle scent and honey-yellow colour make using them a real pleasure. Thanks to their dimensions (21.5 cm in length, with a diameter that widens along the length) and a perfectly matched amount of wax, the burning time of a single konchy candle is 10-15 minutes.

Directions for use

Prepare a pair of candles, tissues, a bowl of water, cotton buds and an aromatic massage oil. Wipe the outer ear and the entrance of the ear canal of the person undergoing the candling treatment with a cotton bud dipped in oil, and gently massage the area around the ear. Light one candle and gently place it in the entrance of the ear canal of the person undergoing the treatment. Hold the candle upright until the flame reaches the burn line marked on the candle. Remove the candle from the ear canal and extinguish it by dipping the burning end into a bowl of water. Wipe the ear with a tissue and gently massage it again.

Repeat the procedure for the other ear. After the candling session is finished, the person undergoing the treatment should rest for a while longer in a lying position and then drink tea to replenish fluids. The whole treatment is very pleasant, effective and relaxing.

Caution

Do not insert Konchy candles too deeply into the ear. Placing the candle too firmly in the ear may result in the plastic part of the candle being left inside the ear.

Contraindications

Ear candling should not be performed in cases of perforated eardrum, head injuries, cerebral blood vessel aneurysm, purulent ear infection, or allergy to bee products.

Scent

The scent of the konchy candles is primarily that of moss and patchouli. Additional accents to this base note are added by aromas of jasmine, aloe, citrus, orange and lemon.

Filter

Our candles are fitted with a special anti-dust safety filter.

The filter effectively protects the ear from unwanted effects of the candle burning. It is impossible for any amount of wax to accidentally get into the ear during the treatment. Thanks to the filter, there is no need for additional ear cleaning after the treatment.
