About Ostrovit – Sodium Butyrate, 600mg – 90 capsules

Ostrovit Sodium Butyrate contains 600 mg sodium butyrate per capsule, providing 180 mg butyric acid (30%) per serving. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is naturally formed in the gut through the fermentation of dietary fibre.

Each capsule contains sodium butyrate in the form of enteric microcapsules, encased in a shell of fatty acids of vegetable origin. The capsule itself is made from hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), making it suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.

With 90 capsules per pack and a recommended dose of two capsules per day, each pack lasts for 45 days.

Usage & Dosage

Take 1 serving (1 capsule) twice daily, preferably with a meal. Drink with water.
