OSAVI Sodium butyrate (120 caps)

DESCRIPTION:

Food for special medical purposes in the form of a hard capsule. Contains butyric acid in the form of microencapsulated sodium butyrate with sustained release (SR). Sodium butyrate provides butyric acid, which nourishes the intestinal epithelium.

For dietary management of:

• irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
• inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa.
• disorders of the intestinal microbiota, e.g. after antibiotic therapy.
• functional bowel disorders (constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, bloating).

INGREDIENTS:

Sodium butyrate, coating (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose), bulking agent: cellulose, thickening agent: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, glazing agent: ethyl cellulose.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Swallow the capsule with water. We suggest taking 1 capsule twice a day, after a meal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

The product must be used under medical supervision. It must not be used as a sole source of nourishment. The product is intended for adults only. It should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or without medical indication. The product is not intended for parenteral use.

STORAGE:

Store in a dark, dry place at room temperature, out of reach of small children.
