Sodium butyrate, also known as butyric acid, is a fatty acid produced during the digestion of dietary fibre by bacteria in the gut, and it plays an important role in the proper functioning of the digestive system.
It is also found in animal fats and vegetable oils, however the amount of butyric acid found in products such as butter and ghee is small compared to the amount produced in the gut.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
One capsule, twice a day. Swallow the capsule and wash it down with plenty of water, after a meal.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
STORAGE:
Store at room temperature, out of reach of small children. Sodium butyrate has a characteristic smell.
