HEPATICA Pau D'Arco (90 caps)

Tabebuia avellanedae an evergreen, tropical tree reaching up to 30 metres in height, growing in the mountains of South and Central America (up to an altitude of 1500 m above sea level), with round pink inflorescences. Pau d'Arco (Tabebuia avellanedae) is also known under the names Lapacho (Argentina, Paraguay) and Ipe Roxo, Morado (Brazil).

The inner layer of the bark is primarily used for producing herbal raw materials, and it contains one of the active substances – lapachol. Not all of the active substances of this plant have yet been precisely identified. South American Indians called the tree "tajy", meaning "to have strength and vigour".

While using Pau d'Arco, it is advisable to consume: fruit, vegetables, unrefined cereal products, groats (especially millet), oat flakes, legumes, nuts and seeds.
