Each capsule contains 7,500 mcg beta-carotene — equivalent to 833% of the daily reference intake for vitamin A — extracted from Blakeslea trispora , a naturally occurring microorganism, along with sunflower oil. Beta-carotene is a carotenoid that the body converts into vitamin A as needed, supporting normal metabolism in a carefully regulated way.

Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, maintenance of normal vision, normal function of the immune system and maintenance of normal mucous membranes. Each softgel is dissolved in organic extra virgin olive oil and stabilised with mixed tocopherols from sunflower oil.
