NOW Foods Beta-1,3/1,6-D-Glucan provides 100 mg of highly purified beta-glucan per capsule, derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (baker's yeast). Beta-glucans are naturally occurring polysaccharides found in the cell walls of yeast and certain fungi, and have been the subject of extensive nutritional research. Each capsule also contains 160 mg of Maitake mushroom powder ( Grifola frondosa ), a traditionally valued functional mushroom that complements the formulation.

This product is encapsulated in a vegetable cellulose capsule, making it fully suitable for vegans and vegetarians. NOW Foods formulates this product without ingredients from wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nuts, to support those following various dietary preferences or needs.
