DESCRIPTION:

NOW®'s High Potency Vitamin D-3 provides this crucial vitamin in a highly absorbable, liquid form.The body normally obtains vitamin D from food or produces it (synthesis) in the skin under the influence of ultraviolet radiation from sunlight. In summer, however, this synthesis is limited by the use of cosmetics containing UV filters. Elderly people and pregnant women are advised to avoid excessive sun exposure. In the autumn-winter period, synthesis is limited due to reduced sunlight.

INGREDIENTS:

Extra virgin olive oil as carrier, capsule: bovine gelatin, glazing agent glycerol, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1 capsule daily after a meal.  Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

The preparation is not intended for children, pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product and for two weeks before a planned operation or procedure. People taking anti-psoriatic medications, anticoagulants, thiazide diuretics, or with hypercalcemia, kidney disease or hyperparathyroidism should consult a doctor before using this product.
