Jarrow Formulas Glutathione Reduced provides 500 mg of reduced glutathione per vegetarian capsule — the biologically active form of this tripeptide that naturally occurs in the body. Each bottle contains 120 vegetarian capsules, which lasts for four months at the recommended dosage of one capsule per day.

Glutathione is made up of three amino acids — glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid — and is found in practically every cell in the body. Jarrow Formulas uses reduced glutathione (L-GSH), the form that is readily used by the body, in a clean, minimalist formula free from unnecessary additives.

This product is suitable for vegans and vegetarians and is free from gluten, milk, egg, soy, fish, shellfish and peanuts/tree nuts, making it a flexible choice for people with a range of different dietary needs. The capsules are made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), a plant-based alternative to gelatin.
