5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is a naturally occurring amino acid and a direct precursor to serotonin in the human body. This product is formulated with a clean, minimal base of excipients — rice starch and cellulose — and encapsulated in a shell of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The dosage recommendation states that the product can be taken with a meal for the purpose of reducing food intake, in line with common usage guidance for 5-HTP-based supplements.

Usage & Dosage

As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule daily. For the purpose of reducing food intake, the product can be taken with a meal.
